01
You want guidance that starts from your actual life story, not a spreadsheet model
02
You prefer a calm, honest conversation over high-pressure product pushing
03
You value a plan you can live with through market ups and downs, life changes, and evolving goals
02
Financial decisions are not made on spreadsheets. They are shaped by the lives we have lived.
Someone who grew up in a financially struggling family often carries a deep need for security. Someone raised in a more solvent household may feel more at ease with risk. Neither is wrong. We never assume that a strategy that worked for someone else will work for you. Your history, your tolerance for uncertainty, and the life you actually want to live matter far more than any model.
We are not looking for the mathematically perfect plan. We look for a reasonable one: the plan you can actually stick with when markets fall, life changes, or your priorities shift. A strategy that looks optimal on paper but keeps you awake at night is not optimal at all.
Because people change, we build with flexibility in mind. The goals that feel urgent today may not feel the same in five or ten years. Rigid plans built only around present ambitions often become burdens later. We leave room for new careers, moves, different interests, and evolving definitions of a good life.
In the end, successful financial behavior rests on a few durable principles: spend less than you earn, invest for the long term, avoid catastrophic risks, keep a cash buffer, and choose independence over status. You do not need to predict the future. You simply need a system that can work across many possible futures, and then adapt it carefully to your own reality.
This is not template work. There is no standard recipe. I listen first: to your history with money, your real constraints, and what you actually value. Then we build the systems and habits that fit your life.

I was born into a middle-class household and raised by a single mother and my grandmother. We never had much and we never splurged, but we always had what we needed. Growing up, money was not a daily worry.
A year before I finished university, everything changed. My mother lost her job and the financial responsibility for the household fell on me. I discovered there was a large mortgage and a real possibility of losing the house. That was the moment I had to learn about money, because keeping our home depended on it.
I was fortunate that my employer at the time paid for my Finance MBA. That education gave me the tools to understand loans, mortgages, budgets, savings, and investments. With those tools the situation slowly turned. The house we were at risk of losing became my first rental apartment. It was the first of nine properties that eventually gave me enough safety and bandwidth to leave corporate life and become an entrepreneur in Lisbon.
Nothing about this path was magical. I stuck to saving, investing, and the same ordinary fundamentals, always while holding a regular 9-5 job. No inheritance, no lottery, no sudden windfall. Just consistency with the basics.
Along the way I also learned why so many people struggle with money. It is rarely a lack of information. It is about each person’s relationship with money and whether the plan in front of them actually fits their life, their history, and their real possibilities. There is no universal recipe.
Because of my own path, I can meet people where they are. I listen, I try to understand, and then we build the systems and habits that can create a steadier financial future, one that belongs to them.

People who want financial guidance that starts from their real life story, values, and constraints, not from a generic model or product pitch. It tends to work well for those who prefer calm, thoughtful conversations and a plan they can actually live with over time.
Anyone looking for high-pressure sales, product recommendations with commissions, or a purely mathematical “optimal” portfolio that ignores how they feel and behave with money. If you mainly want someone to pick stocks or push specific products, this is probably not the right fit.
No. I do not sell investment products, insurance, or any financial instruments. My work is guidance and decision support only. There are no commissions or product incentives involved.

I hold a Finance MBA. My own path involved taking full financial responsibility for my family after a sudden job loss, learning the fundamentals the hard way, and eventually building financial stability through consistent saving and investing while working a regular job. That experience shapes how I work with others.

Most traditional models start with numbers and products. I start with your history, your relationship with money, and the life you actually want to live. We look for a reasonable plan you can stick with through market changes and life shifts, not the theoretically perfect one that keeps you awake at night.
Yes, when it makes sense. Many financial decisions are shared. We can discuss the best format during the exploratory conversation.
